Dr. Kenneth Kunz

Dr. Kenneth Kunz serves as Vice-President of the International Literacy Association (ILA) and serves on the Board of the New Jersey Literacy Association (NJLA) and Board of Directors for Little Free Library. Passionate about literacy education, Dr. Kunz leads professional development in the NJ/NY metropolitan area through his literacy team at For the Love of Literacy, LLC. He has co-authored "Breaking through the Language Arts Block: Organizing and Managing an Exemplary Literacy Day" and "Literacy Changemakers: Bringing the Joy of Reading and Writing Back Into Focus for Teachers and Students." In addition to completing his doctorate in Teacher Leadership at Rutgers University, Dr. Kunz is certified and experienced as a reading specialist, teacher of ESL, supervisor/administrator, elementary teacher, and teacher of English. He was awarded the Edward Fry Fellowship in Literacy at Rutgers and received recognition through the NJ Governor's Teacher Recognition Program.
