Laura Jones is a librarian and Northwest Regional Coordinator with the Indiana State Library’s Professional Development Office. She writes book reviews on her blog (librarianlaura.com) and IG bookstagram (@laurapedenjones). Laura reviews for both School Library Journal and Library Journal. She is the past Chair of the Eliot Rosewater Indiana High School Book Award Selection Committee. Prior to her role at the Indiana State Library, Laura was a K-12 School Librarian with Argos Community Schools and a Public Librarian with Culver-Union Township Public Library. She holds a BA in English from Purdue University and a Masters in Library Science from Indiana University. Her favorite genres to read are Romance and Thrillers. When she isn’t reading or trying to finish writing her first novel, Laura loves to spend time enjoying nature with her husband, 2 sons, and 2 Labrador retrievers at her home in Northern Indiana. She also loves to sew, cross stitch, and crochet.
